Firefox - Find bar on top

There's no setting for this currently, but it can be achieved relatively easily through the userChrome.css file (which does not exist by default, so you may need to create it)

To find your profile location go to about:support where it is listed among other info. Open that folder and if it does not exist, create a subfolder chrome. There, create a file called userChrome.css

Here's mine: (the first entry gets rid of the jumping icon when content is DRM protected, so if you like that, remove that)

@namespace url("http://www.mozilla.org/keymaster/gatekeeper/there.is.only.xul"); /* only needed once */

#eme-notification-icon[firstplay=true] {
  animation: none !important;
}

/* Move Find Bar above the page*/
.browserContainer > findbar {
  -moz-box-ordinal-group: 0;
}

Restart Firefox. Done.
